The Rotary Club of Woy Woy raises funds throughout the year to support local projects, community organisations, youth programs, emergency relief initiatives, health and wellbeing activities, and international humanitarian efforts. Melbourne Cup Trifecta Sweepstakes
The Rotary Club of Woy Woy has been conducting a Melbourne Cup Trifecta Sweepstakes since 1985 . And, over those years we have paid over $90,000 in prize money to the lucky punters who selected a ticket carrying the numbers of the first three horses to cross the finish line of the race.
Tickets are sold from our Melbourne Cup Trifecta kiosk in Deepwater Plaza from the Monday of the week prior to the running of the Cup until sold out. And, as was the case in 1985, tickets are still only $1.00
Bunnings Barbecue
Who doesn’t love a Bunning Barbecue! A cornerstone of service club fundraising, Woy Woy Rotarians look forward to the fun and fellowship that comes with providing great sausage sangas and icy-cold soft drinks to the hard-working, house-proud mums, dads (kids and occasional dog), and the tradies that visit West Gosford Bunnings.
It’s well known that the Rotary Club of Woy Woy have The Best Bunnings BBQ sausage sangas on the Central Coast but you’ll have to come along and buy one if you want to find out where we source them.
We always have room available for an extra BBQ Engineer (cook) or Process Expert (sanaga maker) so volunteer for our next barbie and make that dream of yours come true.

Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal
The Rotary Club of Woy Woy, along with other Rotary Clubs on the Central Coast participate in the annual Red Shield Appeal road-side collection.
The Red Shield Appeal is the Salvation Army’s major annual fundraising campaign in Australia. Its purpose is to raise money to support people experiencing hardship and crisis, including those affected by homelessness, family violence, poverty, financial stress, addiction, mental health challenges, and social isolation.
The Rotary Club of Woy Woy is proud to support this event and would like to thank every driver who has pulled over at our collection point at Koolewong Reserve, to donate to this cause and looks forward to seeing you again at next year’s Appeal.
