Club members spent Sunday September 13 serving 900-1000 hungry customers at West Gosford Bunnings.

The day was a great success with patient and appreciative customers lining up to try our great sausage sandwiches. It was a particularly long day for President John and PP (Past President) Tom, who were there for set-up commencing at 7:30 am and clean-up finishing at 6:00pm. PP Charles and club stalwart Jan worked the whole day on the Customer Service desk (taking orders and money)
Our BBQ Engineers (cooks) did a great job keeping up a supply of cooked sausages and onions to our Construction team, who put all the pieces together to create the final product.

Many thankyous to our volunteers Lois, Sandy and Carol (Construction team members) and Braden (BBQ Engineer) for their support, and to club members Irene, Vicki, Vic, and Bill for doing whatever was needed to be done to keep the production line going.
And thank you to Bunnings Warehouse Australia, who I’m pretty sure on final inspection, told us that no other Rotary club had EVER cleaned the BBQ at well as we did.

It was another great day of fellowship for all involved and the $2100.00 raised, will be returned to the Peninsula community in the form of donations to needy local causes.
