Rotary Club of Woy Woy’s annual Melbourne Cup Trifecta Sweepstakes is on again!
Get your tickets from our pop-up stand at Deepwater Plaza (Woy Woy) from Monday Oct 26 through to the morning of the race on Tuesday Nov 3, or until all tickets are sold.
Tickets are still only $1.00 for your chance to win $800.
Since its inception in 1985, this fund raiser has returned over $90,000 in prize money.
How it works
We have printed 2024 tickets each with 3 numbers between 1 and 24 printed inside. Each of those numbers corresponds to the number of one of the horses qualified to run in the Melbourne Cup. If you pick the ticket with the numbers of the first three horses to cross the finish line of the Melbourne Cup race – you are the winner!
The numbers on your ticket do not have to be in the order in which the horses finished – they just need to be the same three numbers. However, each of the tickets are sealed so you can’t see the numbers on your ticket until after you have purchased it.
BUT, we have created 3 sets of these 2024 tickets so there are 3 winning tickets available for purchase. Each set of the 3 sets of tickets are a different colour.
Come in and see us for your chance to win $800
Funds raised by this event are distributed to a range of charitable causes in our community including school libraries, scholarships, women and children’s health and support services, and sporting clubs & associations. All funds raised by Rotary from community events are returned to the community.
